tranvia-cuencaA technical mission of Unesco is in Cuenca since yesterday, to analyze until Thursday if the tram route that began its construction last year, somehow affects the historic city center.

This mission came at the request of Mayor Marcelo Cabrera, who fears that the work planned by the previous Mayor administration, has consequences on the declaration of Cultural Heritage.

Cabrera said he is waiting for the report of the mission to decide the future of the project, which will cost $ 231 million.
