Unions expect to make a convention in January

imageThe unions intend to operate a national convention in January 2015 to plan new actions and continuing with the opposition to labor measures taken by the Government.

The leaders of the unions of workers consider important this union, because the purpose of the meeting will be decide how to proceed against what they call the State’s refusal to comply with requests and complaints from workers.

Eduardo Ortega, president of the Democratic Workers’ Federation of Guayas, said that the event is important because “the platform of struggle against the authorities” will be created. However, stresses that are not yet decided the time nor the place where the meeting wil be held.
