Us Open: Djokovic Defeats Nadal and Wins Championship Title

After four consecutive hours of match, the number one tennis player, Serbian Novak Djokovic became the new champion of U.S. Open in Flushing Meadows, after beating his Spanish rival Rafael Nadal (6-2, 6-4 , 6-7, 6-1).
U.S. Open distributed $22 million in prizes and Djokovic received 1.8 million plus a 500,000 bonus of for its performance in the circuit of the series.
This would be the third Grand Slam that Djokovic conquest, and his first title at Flushing Meadows in his career. Also, Djokovic won his sixth match against Nadal this year. Nadal admitted his disappointment after being defeated six times in a year by the same opponent.
