US Open: Samantha Stosur Won the tennis Tournament

Last Sunday, the Australian tennis player Samantha Stosur defeated Serena Williams in the final and won the U.S. Open, the final Grand Slam tournament of the year. Stosur defeated Williams with a score of 6-2, 6-3.

This is the first Grand Slam title for Stosur making her the first Australian woman that takes the New York title since Margaret Court, who in 1973. (AV)
