UV radiation level in Quito will remain high

The National Meteorological Institute (Inamhi) warns of the level of radiation at the national level that will remain between high and very high in all the provinces of Ecuador this Monday, May 15.

The provinces that will maintain high UV radiation levels are: Cotopaxi, Pichincha, Napo, Imbabura and Carchi. In the other provinces, radiation will remain very high.

The recommendation is the use of long-sleeved clothing, a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.

In the afternoons and nights there will be intense rains to the north and interior of the Coastal region until May 16, 2023.

Meanwhile, the weather forecast determines that Quito will remain sunny in the morning and rain is expected in the afternoon. The temperature will remain between 12 and 22°C.
