Valencia Celebrated with a Historical Goal His No. 100 Match with the United
Yesterday, Ecuadorian soccer player Antonio Valencia played his hundredth official match as Manchester United defender against Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park Stadium.
Valencia showed his high level of soccer whenn he scored a great goal at minute 81, which was the opening score for the Red Devils. Five minutes later, Ashley Young scored the second goal for United, with a pass from Valencia.
With this victory, Manchester United set to 5 points away from the Manchester City, its bodyguard, when there are only 21 points at stake and is closer to the Premier League title.
On his Twitter account (@AntoV25), “Toño” dedicated his goal to the deceased strategist Dragan Miranovic, who died last March 19th in Quito, Ecuador. Velencia thanked the Serbian coach in English and Spanish for his advice and teachings when they met in El Nacional soccer team.
