Venezuelan political police killed Friday Ecuadorean citizen Jamilton Andres Ulloa Suarez, alias El Topo, identified as a gang leader who massacred 17 miners in a remote gold zone two months ago, the Interior Minister reported.

“At approximately 10 am in the Sifontes municipality, near Tumeremo, in Bolivar Jamilton Ulloa, ‘El Topo’ was killed,” said the head of Interior and Justice, Gustavo Gonzalez Lopez, through his Twitter account.

The official explained that the Bolivarian Intelligence Service (Sebin) conducted a crawl to find El Topo, adding that “at the moment of capture confrontation occurred and this individual whose murder shocked (the) public opinion was shot.” (I).
