Latam domestic flights in Ecuador rose by 6.5% in April

Passenger traffic´s annual rate of Latam Airlines, the largest airline group in Latin America, rose by 2.0 percent in April, based on its operations in Latin America, which contrasted with the sharp decline in its business in Brazil.
Latam, that includes Chilean company LAN and Brazilian company TAM, said that the international passenger operations, including regional and long-range routes, grew by 9.6 percent in April.
Meanwhile, the local passenger transport in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru rose 6.5 by percent in April.
In return, passenger´s traffic in Brazil, -the largest Latam market- contracted by 12.3 percent (I).
