Vladimir Putin states that nobody can intimidate Russia
During a meeting with the Staff of the Federal Security Service, Russian President Vladmir Putin said that no one has ever nor can intimidate Russia and all threats to national security will receive an appropriate response.
“Moscow´s independent policy and even the attempts to assist the needy in Ukraine and elsewhere, causes an open sore of, as we say, our colleagues and partners,” said the president.
He added that in order to restrain Russia a whole arsenal of means is used: from the attempts of political isolation and economic pressure to information warfare and resources of special services. Putin stressed that this does not work nor will it work and the international situation will get better, despite the difficulties.
“the situation around our country will change for the better, but not because we will make concessions, bend down or trifle with someone. It will change for the better only if we become stronger,” he noted.
