The Wendy’s franchise, with the opening of its first restaurant in Ecuador, located in Avenida 9 de Octubre, expanded its brand to the country number 28.Wendy´d counts with the international menu, but some items are made with local raw material.
Thus explained Rebecca Eljuri, representative of the company in the country. She explained that ground beef, potatoes, bread and desserts that are found at the Wendy’s Cafe are Ecuadorian products that were approved by the franchise.
Carlos Ribas, Vice President of the franchise for Latin America, said that the region is a market where they are positioning and they expect to open a new restaurant in Chile.
