Guayaquil is the seat of the provincial Convention of PAIS

With the Minister of Social Welfare, Doris Soliz, commanding, the so-called political Council of the Alianza País movement runs through provinces knowing the reality of each one of the provincial directivesIn addition to the Minister Soliz, the Council is also integrated by the former Minister Betty Tola, the current Secretary of Management Policy, Viviana Bonilla, the Ministers Carlos Marx Carrasco (Ethics Committee) and Javier Ponce (Electoral Commission), Paola Cabezas, Governor of Esmeraldas (where the National Convention will be held on may 1), and Lira Villalba, who represents the youth of the PAIS party.
The Provincial Council is made up of the Directory Provincial expanded (main and alternate members), main and alternate Assemblymen of the PAIS movement in each province, prefects, vice-prefects and mayors of PAIS, elected in 2009, GAD elected officials in February 2014 (prefects, Vice-prefects, mayors, Councillors and members of parish boards).
At the Friday meeting in Guayaquil, the movement will inspect the following points: political action of the movement, organization of movement, the campaign itself, the management of the autonomous governments, political communication and media.
