185 proposals for the referendum have arrived at the Carondelet Palace

A few hours before the deadline for the compilation of proposals for the referendum, political and student organizations rushed yesterday to deliver their proposals in the President´s office while others hope to do so today.

Until 16:00 yesterday, 185 proposals for questions had been counted in the Carondelet Palace.

President of the Law School of the Universidad Central Jonathan Rosero recalled that autonomy is a right they had since 1925 and was violated. “We want financial and academic autonomy,” he stated.

The proposals include the repeal of the Capital Gains Law, which has affected the real estate market in recent years. (I)
