25 buildings in Guayaquil will undergo an assessment to verify if there is damage that jeopardizes their structures or bases. This was reported through the Twitter account of Mayor of Guayaquil Jaime Nebot, this April 24th.
The mayor also indicates that 108 buildings out of a total of 133 “have no structural damage” and can be inhabited by citizens.
The authority said that today he will give more details on this inspection to be done “as quick as possible.” He also noted that most of the damage in the buildings is “solvable”.
