4 K TVs, ‘made in Ecuador’ and cheaper
From this weekend at local stores, it will be possible to buy a TV with 4K technology, cheapened by 20% in relation to other made in Ecuador and 45% compared to foreigners. The special thing is that these screens are assembled in Duran, on the ground of Audioelec, by the hands of young Ecuadorians.
To meet this challenge, Yolanda Hoyos, president of Audioelec, told Expreso Diary that she sent the helpers to train in Brazil, Mexico, Japan, China and the United States.
The process is carried out using high technology, so that in one shift with 35 workers 600 screens can be armed, although the plant has capacity to make 3,000 per day.
Hoyos said that the Riviera TVs with 4K technology are the alternative to not travel to the border and buy a cheaper foreign one. She said the technology and quality that is being used is the highest and can compete with any foreign brand.
