6.2 M earthquake recorded in the border with Peru

A magnitude 6.2 earthquake was recorded at 06:34 on Monday in Peru, at a depth of 10 km.
The telluric movement occurred at the border area of Peru and Ecuador, 81.30 km from the city of Macará, Loja province.
The quake was felt in Guayaquil, Cuenca, Machala, Loja, Zamora, and the southern sector of Ecuador, according to reports of the Geophysical Institute (I).
