7 degree Earthquake Shook Myanmar (Burma)

An 7.0 degrees on the Richter scale earthquake occurred on the northeastern of Myanmar (Burma), the movement was also felt in Bangkok, where skyscrapers were moved for several seconds.
The United States Geological Survey located the epicenter provisionally at a 229.4km depth, near the country’s borders with Thailand and Laos, about 111 kilometers from the northern Thai city Chiang Rai.
