Ecuadornews:

The management that until now has been carried out by the Council of Citizen Participation, under the direction of Julio César Trujillo, enjoys the approval of the majority of the population, according to a survey conducted by Cedatos between June 20 and 30 .

According to figures released yesterday, the transitional Council of Citizen Participation and Trujillo have the approval of 73% of a universe of 1,920 households surveyed in 17 different cities.

“In the last months …, with the corruption, the demands, it has revived the population’s interest in what is happening in Ecuador and that has made the response to the management of the Participation Council greater “, explained Ángel Polibio Córdova, director of the pollster.

The acceptance is transferred to the actions undertaken by that body, such as the cessation of the Judicial Council headed by Gustavo Jalkh, close to former President Rafael Correa.

65.1% approved the cessation, while 22.5% did not agree and 12.4% did not know or did not respond.

In addition, 82.9% approve that the transitory Council of Citizen Participation also evaluate and dismiss the National Electoral Council and 75.5% agree that even the Constitutional Court should be evaluated. (I)
