Ecuador U-17 Defeated Burkina Faso 2-0

Ecuador got into the second round of the World U-17 Mexico 2011 after defeating the Burkina Faso 2-0 in the third match of Group E, in the Omnilife stadium of Guadalajara. Jose Cevallos jr. scored the first goal in the minute 74 of the second round, two minutes later, Kevin Mercado added the winning point. After the match ended the Burkina Faso was out of the World U-17.

During the first half of the match, the Ecuadorian team efforts seemed that the match was going to end in a tie. However, the African champion team lost due to its lack of attention to the attacks of the Ecuadorian team in the goal area. (AV)
