Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are Engaged

Actress and singer Miley Cyrus, 19, formalized her commitment in marriage to Australian actor Liam Hemsworth, 22.

After three years dating, Hemsworth, proposed on May 31, giving her a 3.5 carat engagement ring designed by a Neil Lane.

Since early 2012, the former Disney star was photographed wearing a diamond ring, which raised speculation that would be betrothed. However, was Cyrus who confirmed the news through her Twitter account.

“I’m so happy to be involved and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam,” Cyrus revealed to People.
