Andres Lopez Asks Social Networks to Stay Alert

AMLO calls all social networks

Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador (AMLO), the presidential candidate of ‘Movimiento Progresista’ political party (Progressive Movement), asked all the social networks to be alert in the upcoming first round of the Mexico presidential elections on July 01.

AMLO added that “we must all help that this elections are clean, free; the purpose is that all of us participate in the remaining days and that in the Election Day we be alert of its development.”

Afterwards he asked social networks to help him make a call to everyone for the closure of his campaign the next Wednesday June 27. “We are going to gather at the Angel de la Independencia and walk towards el Zocalo at 16:00 hours.”

Lopez also informed about a website that will receive this information with the objective of keeping the electoral process transparent, while at the same time maintaining its surveillance. (AV)
