Alvaro Noboa complaint against political persecution OAS Mission

This Saturday January 19, businessman and presidential candidate for the party PRIAN, Alvaro Noboa, during his visit to Quito reported to the head of the Election Observation Mission of the OAS, Dr. Rafael Alburquerque, of being politically persecuted by the Ecuadorian Government.

“I complained to him (Rafael Alburquerque), that this campaign is unfair and undemocratic. I’m running with a ban on leaving the country, so I cannot visit the migrants.”

Prian presidential candidate said he is politically persecuted by Correa’s government, who is also using the SRI to invent a debt with the Treasury which does not exist.

Supported by data, Noboa disclosed in his letter to the OAS, that in 2005 the Bananera Noboa  Exporting Company, a Noboa-Group company, was invented a gloss to pay income tax of $49’206 .895.28 while Dole banana export company, which is the biggest exporter of bananas in the country, was charged by the IRS an income tax of $ 700,000, Chiquita export $ 39,500, Reybanpac $14.219.11 and DEL MONTE $11.748.00.

“There is no real debt of Bananera Noboa Exporting Noboa or mine, of what it is to discredit my image as a person and as a politician, as publicly on several occasions, the Director of the Internal Revenue Service, has reffered as a tax evader” states Noboa in his communication.”

Noboa refers to arbitrary arrest, illegal and unconstitutional the Judge Augusto Posligua Galarza, who granted an injunction to Exportadora Noboa and was arrested after a public statement against sentencing of Rafael Correa. The judge takes more than 120 days in jail tells Noboa, says the case is already in the hands of the Commission on Human Rights.

Noboa Referring to illegal and unconstitutional ban not allowed to leave the country and to campaign with migrants, stated the lack of fairness and equality in the electoral process and in this political persecution against him.

“(…) However, I’m here running for president of Ecuador, in defense of the middle class and the poor Ecuadorian Ecuadorians suffering from staples that are triggered by the amount of taxes, who suffer because they can not afford their income because the basket and goes for $ 500, which suffer from crime and are rejecting nationwide corruption of this government, “he concluded Noboa.
