Former Territorial’s customers begin to collect their deposits

Territorial Bank’s customers began receiving their deposits of up to $ 31,000 in the Pacific Bank agencies. Today, customers whose last digit of their identity card ended in 1 and 2 were attended.

Outside the bank, ranks were made for three hours while customers awaited the beginning of the refund process. A total of 23 windows in the main building of the Pacific Bank in Guayaquil were qualified to serve eager customers.

The Deposit Insurance Corporation of Ecuador (COSEDE) has reported that so far, more than 800 customers have claimed more than $ 5 million nationwide.

However, although most customers received their deposits, some of them were protesting because they were not refunded all their savings, since they did not appear in the system.
