$ 60,000 million in investments to change production matrix

During a workshop entitled “Technology and Co-creation: keys to economic and social development”, held yesterday, the managing director of the Matrix Productive Change of the Ministry of Production, Diego Borja, said that an amount of between $ 50,000 and $ 60,000 million are required in investment in order to change the matrix.

Borja revealed that “what we want is, in a considerable time, to stop exporting raw materials and being a major producer and exporter of raw materials with value-added or industrial products and also the provision of services.”

The Ministry of Knowledge and Human Resource organized the workshop in conjunction with the Consortium of Provincial Self-Governments and the United Nations Program for Development.
