Correa about the Territorial Code: `This is an urgent law´

As `Urgent´ described the processing of the Territorial Code draft the President Rafael Correa during his Weekly Address.

The draft law, which is driven by the regime, was defended by Correa and its `benefits´were explained by Diego Aulestia, Minister of Housing.

`This is an urgent law because it ends with a growth disorder in each city,´ Correa said, adding that he had a meeting to review the content of the proposal.

According to the Executive, the Territorial Code draft does not affect the autonomy of local governments regarding regulation of land use in cities.

The Territorial Code draft will be officially presented to the Assembly in May and its processing and approval will be in two debates, according to members of the Alianza País block.
