Interim report on the flight MH17 will be presented by the Netherlands

The Security Council of the Netherlands will present this Tuesday a first interim report on the causes of the Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 crash, in which were 298 people died, including more than 200 Dutch, on July 17 in eastern Ukraine.

The provisional report “will present factual information based on the available  sources to researchers,” reported in a statement the Dutch Bureau for Security Research (SVO), in charge of clarifying the causes of the accident.

“In the coming months, a research complement will be necessary before the final report is written. The OVV expects to publish the final report within one year from the accident,” said the Office.

The question of guilt is subject of criminal investigations which are ongoing, informed the government in The Hague.
