Commission of the Assembly in charge of the profits is changed

The Council on Legislative Administration (CAL for its Spanish acronym) resolved that the draft amendments to the Telecommunications Law, which raises to lower the worker participation in the profits of the companies in this sector, will be unified in the process already made by the Commission of Autonomous Governments onthe Telecommunications Law.

On July 14, the President sent to the Assembly an amendment to the Telecommunications Law to reduce from 15% to 3% the employee participation in the profits of the companies of the sector, and that the difference goes to social investment projects and telecommunications development.

 The CAL assigned the processing of the project to the Commission of the Workers, but on Monday reassigned to the Commission of Autonomous Governments.
