Ecuador and Peru Foreign Ministers will discuss bilateral issues in Quito

The Foreign Ministers of Ecuador, Ricardo Patiño, and Peru, Gonzalo Gutiérrez, will meet on October 7 in Quito to discuss matters of bilateral interest and prepare an upcoming appointment of Presidents and Ministers of both countries.
Patiño and Gutiérrez will lead a XIII Meeting of the Binational Commission of Neighbourhood, to be held at the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry. The Embassy of Peru in Quito stated that during this meeting issues such as ” cultural border regime, social affairs, infrastructure and trade, among others” will be addressed.
In addition, joint initiatives will be analyzed to develop the common border.
