Fuerza.Ec held its first meeting

Fuerza.Ec (FE) held its inaugural meeting on Sunday. In which its national directive, logo and schedule were defined to start the registration process as a party in the National Electoral Council.

This political organization comes after the removal of the Roldosista Ecuadorian Party (PRE for its Spanish acronym). At the meeting were elected by ballot Abdalá Bucaram Pulley as director of the convention and national director of the party; as well as the Mayor of Balzar, Cirilo Gonzalez, as deputy director.

“(The party) understands the generational change that politics is living not only in Ecuador but also in Latin America. This space is created for youth primarily, I think we have to work on creating new leaders”, said Bucaram Pulley.

At the conference, participants defined that next tuesday they will ask the CNE the key to start the process.

Through a phone call, the former President Abdala Bucaram Ortiz congratulated his son for “rasing the battle flag”.
