Jaime Nebot stated in Metrobastión “is not in bankruptcy”

The mayor of Guayaquil, Jaime Nebot, ensures that the public transport system, Metrobastión, “is not in bankruptcy”.

His statement was based on statements from the backbone manager, who denied the bankruptcy.

“If that manager says that there is no bankruptcy. I ask him: when there is a bankruptcy can debts be payed to banks, debt by new buses? So if  the new buses are being paid, and some lines as Metroquil, have already payed, then it means that there is no bankruptcy”, said the Mayor in his usual radio address of Tuesdays.

Nebot, attributed the misinformation to the leader of urban transport in the city and PAIS Assemblyman Alberto Arias, who, according to Nebot, “is a constant enemy of the Metroway”.
