Barcelona will play against a European team for its anniversary

“May is a month of great joy; 90 years are not met every day and Barcelona will enjoy that month full of surprises because of its anniversary,” said Antonio Noboa, president of the Barcelona Sporting Club.

This May 1st, the yellow team will celebrate its 90th anniversary, having been founded in 1925, for which a match against a European team is being prepared this May 28.

“A European team will play against Barcelona. Just a few details are missing, and we are confident that things will work out. We do not rule out the Espanyol (where Ecuadorian Felipe Caicedo plays), people have to be calm, we will have a great opponent,” Noboa assured.

Noboa toño also refered to a possible tour of the team in the US and Mexico before the Copa America, to be played in June.
