Raid in the Severance Fund´s seat

David Rosero, a member of the Council for Citizen Participation (CPC), and four other people were arrested for impeding the entry of IESS officials to the seat of the Ecuadorian Teacher´s Severance Fund (FCME) in Ibarra.

The fact occurred Monday afternoon when FCME teachers guarded the seat to prevent the entry of IESS officials since last week. Other detainees were: Jaime Villacis, president of the National Union of Educators (UNE) of Imbabura, and teachers Mario Landeta, Irene Ortiz and Roberto Villamar, who are at the Police Command of the Northern Region.
