Possible candidates are preparing for the race for the Presidency

The race for the presidency of Ecuador has not yet started, but from now political actors announce their intentions to enter the race. The decision of President Rafael Correa to refrain from participating encourages many.
There are 4 politicians who already formalize their intention to run for president: Guillermo Lasso (CREO), Lenin Hurtado (Unidad Popular), Abdala Bucaram Pulley (Fuerza Ecuador) and Washington Pesantez (Union Ecuadoriana). The work to captivate the voters is running: city tours, workshops and public pronouncements are some of the activities carried out along with their teams.
Businessman Alvaro Noboa does not hide his intention to run. Hence the work of his organization, Adelante Ecuatoriano Adelante, which focuses on the collection and delivery of signatures to register his new political movement.
The national director of the group, Wilson Sanchez, does not rule out the possibility that Noboa tries, for the fifth time, to be a presidential hopeful. For this they also seek national alliances or dialogues with other political organizations, “except with movements that have been in this government.”
