The campaign for the yes continued on the weekend

The political actors worked hard over the weekend to promote the Yes in the popular consultation. 

One of them was the vice president, María Alejandra Vicuña, who shared with the inhabitants of Yaguachi and the suburb of Guayaquil, the first activity was an Olympiad and the second, the traditional burning of “the paper giants”.

In this activity, the Second President stressed the importance of support for the popular consultation proposed by the Executive. Another front was that of Ignacio Figueroa, leader of Alianza PAIS and mayor of Pedro Carbo, who organized a public discussion to spread the arguments that motivate the support of the Yes. In the Sierra the proselytizing activity was led by Humberto Cholango and Gustavo Baroja.

The politicians met with the representatives of movements of the left, such as Pachakutik, PAIS Alliance, Socialist Party and Indigenous and Social Organizations, they declared the Unit for 7 Times Yes, requested Cholango, current Secretary of Water.

The event highlighted the presence of multicolored flags to which the PAIS green was also added. In Ponce Enríquez, the Coalition of Social Organizations (COS) was formed and joined the Yes. Armando Moreira, delegate of COS, highlighted the fight against corruption and emphasized the importance of questions to improve citizen coexistence. (I)
