Glenda Morejón gets a gold medal in the Pan American Games

Glenda Morejón was awarded with the gold medal in the Pan-American marches in the 10km competition that took place in Mexico. In this way, the imbabureña continues with its consolidation in high level athletics, with just 18 years the athlete continues to win medals at the international level.
The Ecuadorian marcher, Glenda Morejón, delivered good results to the country after a fruitful year reaching four medals: two silver medals in the World Cup in China, last May, a bronze medal in the U-20 World Cup in Finland, in July and another one of bronze in the Ibero-American Games, in August, including breaking his own personal mark.
Glenda is preparing to make the ‘jump’ to the 20km test, mid-year.
In Mexico, also the Ecuadorian Karla Jaramillo stood out, who achieved the bronze medal in the 20 km and qualified for the Pan American Games in Lima 2019.
