The Galapagos ecolodge will be built between 2024 and 2025. It will have 35 rooms and will be located on San Cristóbal Island.
The Ministry of Production and the company Galapagos Organic signed an investment contract for more than USD 15.7 million for the construction of an ecolodge in the Galapagos Islands.
The project, according to the Ministry, will generate 84 direct employment positions and will be built between 2024 and 2025 on San Cristóbal Island.
The hotel will have “35 bungalow-type housing units, under environmental standards,” the entity detailed.
And he added that this ecolodge “promotes tourism in the Galapagos Islands to position it as an economic activity that generates employment, positively impacts environmental conservation and promotes national economic development.”
