Two famous but aging action stars met at a hospital. Actor Arnold Schwarzenegger, 64, and Sylvester Stallone, 65, found themselves gurney-to-gurney last Wednesday.

Their unusual meet-up, according to a statement made by Schwarzenegger through Twitter. “After all the action, stunts & physical abuse shooting The Expendables 2 and The Last Stand, it was time for a little tune up on my shoulder. Look who was coincidentally waiting in line behind me for his shoulder surgery. Now we’re ready for another round of great times and action when we shoot The Tomb.”

Schwarzenegger and Stallone will share the screen again in The Expendables 2, on August 17. The action duo will also star in the upcoming police thriller of the Swedish filmmaker Mikael Hafstrom “The Tomb” which is scheduled for 2013. Stallone will play an authority figure in prison of his own design while Schwarzenegger will take the role of one inmate. (AV)
