After Odebrecht’s informer statements, the Attorney General ratifies the illegal association

Ecuador’s Attorney General today confirmed his suspicions about the crime of illicit association that spills vice president Jorge Glas, as part of the investigation into the bribery plot of the Brazilian construction company.
After attending a video conference hearing of former Odebrecht director in Ecuador, José Conceicao Santos, Attorney General Carlos Baca ratified the thesis on the “crime of illicit association.”
“With the testimony of José Conceicao S., the criminal offense of illicit association of private persons (with arrest warrants) and former public officials” linked to the case was ratified, the Prosecutor´s Office said on its Twitter account. (I)
