Alvaro Noboa Introduces The Art of “Light and Form”
Thanks to the continuous interest of businessman and entrepeneur Alvaro Noboa not only in the business encouragement but also in the expression of arts. Yesterday, September 15, an exposition took place at the Luis Noboa Naranjo Museum to display the outstanding works of art by Eloy Cumbet.
The exposition, appropriately named “Light and Form” sought to expose the latest paintings by Eloy Cumbet, a remarkable artist from Guayaquil who has a long and very successful career with many Awards like the “First Painting Biennal of Guayaquil Luis Noboa Naranjo”.
He has shown his Works in Quito, Cuenca, Bahía, Portoviejo, Guayaquil and also in Peru. As of right now, his paintings are being shown in New Jersey. Cumbet says his biggest source of inspiration is nature. He considers “Light is color”, therefore since last year, he started showing the 32 paintings that belong to the Exposition displayed last night at the Luis Noboa Naranjo Museum.
Cumbet’s concept of his art is that Light is everything that surrounds us, and that the human being has an aura with a light which shape is what gives it color.
