Eva Longoria promotes auction on Twitter

Posted On 16 Sep 2010

Actress Eva Longoria, known for her role in Desperate Housewives series, is now the main promoter of the first auction on Twitter.

Whoever wins the auction with the best bid will be retweeted and followed by a celebrity (chosen previously) and will be mentioned in a tweet. Some of the celebrities involved (more than 150) are offering phone calls and autographs to winners.

“You all are amazing! Thank you for dealing w/ so many tweets today,” she wrote to her followers. “We believe in this cause and it works because YOU spread the word.”

The auction seeks to raise funds to help the foundation “A Home in Haiti” which helps children with troubles.

You can make your bids on TwitChange until September 25.
