A teacher from the Camilo Ponce Enriquez high school, in the La Prosperina sector, north of Guayaquil, joins the number of teachers who have been injured in one way or another by the use and sale of drugs on education campuses.

“The teacher better take care for being nosy” was the threat that the teacher complained before the Prosecutor’s Office after she recently denounced a 14-year-old girl with drugs in the boys’ restroom. Two days later, the threats would have begun.

The teacher, who has worked 15 years on that campus, submitted a petition to the Undersecretary of Education for her relocation.

Also, last month, some students allegedly drugged a general inspector from a high school, north of Guayaquil, while at another high school in the same sector, a teacher reported that on three occasions she has been allegedly drugged while teaching.
