Argentina claims violation of its sovereign immunity

Jorge Capitanich, Argentina´s Chief of Cabinet of Ministers reiterated the last call of President Cristina Kirchner to the President of the United States Barack Obama, to intervene in what Argentina calls a violation of sovereign immunity.
“In a sovereign country like ours there is no disrespect, but the sovereign immunity of the country is being violated”, Capitanich said in a press conference.
The Griesa´s decision ordered Argentina to pay $1,330 million in cash, 100% of the debt with funds NML and other litigants.
