Arnold Schwarzenegger proposes Spain as the setting for the upcoming Conan movie

The International Short Film Festival Almería en Corto granted last Sunday to actor Arnold Schwarzenegger the honorary award Almeria, Film Land, who thirty-three years before filmed in the same place scenes from the movie “Conan, the Barbarian.” Schwarzenegger said in his speech that upon his return to Los Angeles, he will propose Spain as the scenario of the new movie “The legend of Conan.”

Luis Rogelio Rodríguez- Comendador, Mayor of Almería, gave the actor a replica of the sword he used to play his role in Conanin addition to receiving a star on the Walk of Fame, alongside the one of director Ridley Scott and actor Omar Shariff.
