Assembly authorities reelected until 2017

This Thursday authorities of the National Assembly were re-elected, Gabriela Rivadeneira as president, with 103 votes, Rosana Alvarado as first vice president with 100 votes and Marcela Aguinaga as second vice president, also with 100 votes.
With 26 votes against, Rivadeneira obtained the support of her party, while Alvarado obtained 100 votes in favor, 30 against and 4 abstentions. Aguinaga got 100 votes in favor, 32 against and 3 abstentions.
Gabriela Rivadeneira thanked her peers for voting for her and announced that the next legislative session will focus on approving ten bills and codes.
