Avianca implements in Ecuador the ticket sales system through WhatsApp

The Avianca airline seeks to innovate, hand in hand with technology and safely, so that customers find them more easily and comfortably.
In order to be closer to customers, Avianca opened a WhatsApp number in Ecuador to purchase tickets for national and international destinations. “By leveraging the technology offered by this channel, those who are interested in traveling now can check itineraries, rates and buy their tickets from their mobile phone in a simple, comfortable and safe way,” commented David Alemán, General Director of Avianca in Ecuador.
To access this service, customers must save Avianca’s WhatsApp number on their cell phone: + 593-968-555-555 and write the data of their possible flight. The service hours through this messaging service are from Monday to Friday between 08:30 and 17:30.

It is important to mention that through this channel customers can make payments by credit card or debit card safely. Avianca tickets can also be purchased at points of sale, travel agencies, Avianca.com, mobile application and Call Center.
