Through a statement, Banco del Pacifico, which was initially presented as the official sponsor of the new Ecuadorian Soccer Championship, announced that it has not been possible to reach an agreement with the Professional Soccer League of Ecuador (Liga Pro). According to the bank this happened because the final contract only benefited one of the parties.
In the statement of the Bank of the Pacific explains that after several weeks defining the terms of sponsorship for the championship, no agreement was reached in this regard, “since after the initial pact, the rights derived from the negotiation have tilted benefiting only one of the parties”
“By virtue of what has been indicated, Banco del Pacifico S.A will not sponsor the Ecuadorian Soccer Championship”. The bank assured that they will maintain their commitment to support the development of Ecuadorian athletes, always in favorable conditions.
This is announced when the second date of the Ecuadorian Soccer Championship has ended, for now it is not known what will be the actions of the LigaPro in order to obtain an official sponsor of the tournament. (I)
