Last night, Barcelona Sporting Club beat Liga de Quito 1-0 at the Monumental Stadium in Guayaquil.

Defender Jose Ayoví scored the winning goal, keeping Barcelona as the absolute pointer in the second stage of the National Soccer Championship and getting closer to its objective of becoming champion without playing a final.

The “yellow team” was offensive from the beginning of the match, causing dangerous scoring plays.

José Ayoví, once recovered from his injury that kept him off the game for several dates, scored the victory goal on the 45th minute of the first half thanks to a center kicked by Bryan De la Torre, set up by Damián Díaz.
