Barcelona visited Carondelet

The Barcelona Sporting Club yesterday visited the Palacio de Carondelet where they could witness the changing of the guard of the presidential guard.

This first event was attended by the President of the Republic, Rafael Correa with players Maximo Banguera, Damian Diaz, Matias Oyola, also coach Gustavo Costas and President Antonio Noboa and his brother Luis Noboa, as guests of honor. The rest of the team was located in the lower part of the Government Palace.

Later, the players and coaching staff visited the facilities of the government palace and then had lunch with the president.

During the meal, Correa referred to the team: “Congratulations to the players because they are on a high level, good luck in the Copa Sudamericana where we represent. Congratulations also to the board, the coaching staff, because we know this (work) policy, but also technical labor. ”

At the head table, Correa was accompanied Barcelona former glories as Jose Cevallos, Luis “El Chino” Gomez, Jimmy Montanero, Raul Noriega, Claudio Alcívar, Agustin Delgado, among others, who received a special award.
