Bob Marley would meet 69 years today

Imagen 5Robert Nesta Marley Booker, better known as Bob Marley was born on February 6, 1945, Nine Mile, Jamaica. Today is the artist’s anniversary and to be alive, would meet 69.

Marley was a musician and composer of extraordinary qualities to clinch the title of the greatest exponent of reggae.

The May 11, 1981, at age 36, the singer of the hits “No Woman, No Cry”, “I Shot the Sheriff,” “Jamming,” “Three Little Birds,” died in a Miami hospital, victim of cancer that affected his lungs and eventually his brain.

Currently, his name has reached legendary status and it has become synonym for reggae and Jamaica, his island. In addition, Bob Marley was posthumously inducted into the Hall of Fame Rock and Roll in 1994.
