Candidate for councillor in Playas remains missing

The candidate for councillor for the political party Social Cristiano-Madera de Guerrero, Lissete Avilés Erazo, 24, disappeared in the canton General Villamil Playas a week ago.

This morning, around 20 people armed with shovels, picks and machetes started looking for the candidate in different areas of the city, to check every dumpster,and empty lots.

Family, friends and colleagues of the political group gathered to looks for her. Every morning and afternoon neighbors and acquaintances gather outside the home of the missing candidate  and in three vans go to different sites to look for her. The goal: find the her body.

So far, the police suspect of Angel V. A., former boyfriend of the victim, with whom she has two children,” of 9 and 2 years. The couple was separated from last December.

The mother of Lissete says that Angel is responsible for the disappearance of her daughter and said that last January 25, his daughter went to the family house to collect clothes for the children and since then they do not know nothing about her.
