Carlos Polit’s evidence in Odebrecht case is disseminated

Former Comptroller General Carlos Pólit will respond to the accusation of breach of his functions in the impeachment processed by the Legislature, whose deadline to submit evidence expires today.

Pólit’s attorney, Jorge Acosta, revealed that he will forward a letter to the Audit Committee of the Legislature. He indicated that in a previous inquiry against his client, indications are sought that tend to uncover the existence of a concussion-related offense; But “I have not seen or heard any video, document or recording where Carlos Pólit is asking for money.” (I)
